Discussion Topic—“How should we respond to our current cultural moment?”
The assassination of Charlie Kirk rocked our world. It revealed the evil and murderous heart of the left as hundreds of thousands cheered and mocked his death. In the same week, we watched as a young Ukrainian woman, named Iryna Zarutska, had her life snuffed out by a violent criminal who, after stabbing her repeatedly, gloated—“Got that white girl.”
We’re living in the tumult of a woke, Marxist, feminist, homo-trans-sexual revolution that’s waging war against God—and against strong, godly masculinity. In the span of a decade, America has gone from having same-sex “marriage” forced upon us to being terrorized by an epidemic of “trans” mass shootings. The left has committed wide-spread voter fraud & tried, multiple times, to kill President Trump. Meanwhile, the evangelical church has shown itself to be impotent of any kind of cultural or spiritual impact. The temptation, especially for young men, is to grow disillusioned and throw in the towel.
How should Christian men respond? To paraphrase Edmond Burke, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing?”
